In Honor of Demaryius Thomas

We were deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Demaryius Thomas, a passionate advocate for children in the Denver metro area and one of the greatest and most beloved players in Broncos history.

Demaryius, affectionately known as D.T., helped guide the Broncos to five AFC West titles, a pair of AFC Championships, and a Super Bowl 50 victory on the field, but the impact he made off the field was even greater.

His commitment to our Club kids was indicative of his commitment to the greater community. So many staff and members at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver carry special memories of Demaryius, including the big smile and care he exhibited to our Club members on his many visits to the Broncos Club. His relationships with our kids were pure joy. During the holiday season, especially, we have fond memories of his attendance at Club parties as Santa D.T. and many shopping trips to provide gifts for Boys & Girls Club kids.

His kindness, care, and infectious smile will not be forgotten.

We are humbled by the outpouring of love and donations in his memory, and honored that his legacy will live on in the kids and teens in our community who looked up to him.
