Hanger Clinic Inspires Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver Kids to Explore Careers in Prosthetics and Orthotics 

 

[Denver, November 3, 2023] - Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is thrilled to announce a partnership with the renowned Hanger Clinic, a national leader in orthotic and prosthetic solutions. The partnership is aimed at igniting the curiosity and aspirations of Club members by providing an opportunity for kids and teens from Owen Boys & Girls Club to explore the world of prosthetics and orthotics through an engaging and informative workshop. 

On November 9, Hanger Clinic team members will engaged Club members in a interactive workshop, allowing them to experience what it feels like to use and make prosthetic solutions. The Club members will witness firsthand how prosthetic devices are created, fitted, and operated. Additionally, the workshop will shed light on the diverse career opportunities within the field of prosthetics and orthotics.

The primary objective of this workshop is to broaden the horizons of young minds, exposing them to various career choices and emphasizing the profound impact prosthetics and orthotics can have on individuals' lives.
