Signature Events

When you participate in one of our signature events, you have the opportunity to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver with the additional benefit of exposure for your group or organization. For more than 50 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver has been there for kids when they need us most. Membership is open to all youth ages 6-18, and for $2 annually, Club members have access to a wealth of out-of-school-time programming that has the power to positively shape and change their lives. From sponsorships to silent auctions to golf foursomes and individual tickets, there are a variety of ways to get involved and make a difference for kids in our community.

Signature Events

Event-GalaAnnual Gala

The Boys & Girls Clubs Gala is our most impactful event of the year, bringing together nearly 1,000 of Denver’s most influential professionals to celebrate our most outstanding Club members. The evening, which includes a cocktail reception, auction and dinner, culminates in the celebration of our “Youth of the Year,” a Club member who has overcome great adversity to achieve success, and our “Champion of Youth,” a community member or organization who has gone the extra mile to help our youth reach their dreams. Event-CampCamp ‘n Cocktails

Each year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver takes 500 kids out of the city and into the mountains, often for the very first time in their lives. At Gates Camp, kids spend the week sleeping under the stars, singing silly songs, building campfires and connecting with a natural world they are too often removed from. At Camp ‘n Cocktails, you can re-live the fun of summer camp while making a difference in the life of a child who has yet to experience the magic and transformative power of the Colorado wilderness. Emerging leaders in the Denver community come together for an intimate, upscale evening of premier cuisine and cocktails, with a focus on networking with like-minded individuals who are committed to supporting youth in our neighborhoods and driving long-term change in our community. Swing your clubs for our Clubs! Players in our golf tournament will enjoy a great day on the greens, networking and enjoying the beautiful Colorado summer with all proceeds directly supporting our Club members. Event-FTLFlight to Luxury

The Flight to Luxury Hangar Party boasts luxury cars, private jets, entertainment, artwork, gourmet food sampling from Denver’s top restaurants and a couture fashion show. More than 1,000 of the who’s who of Denver put on their finest and enjoy a one-of-a-kind party hosted by Cuvée and benefitting the youth in our Clubs who need our help to take flight.  Learn more »

 

Event-ScramScream Scram 5K Race

Bring the family (and the dog!) and put together your best costume for our Halloween-themed 5K Run/Walk. Or form a team with your colleagues and join us for a fantastic Friday night. This exciting event draws approximately 1,500 participants to Wash Park each year. Great media exposure through pre-race promotion, a glow-in-the-dark race t-shirt and treat-filled post-race expo will leave you or your company feeling great about helping low-income youth live healthier lives.
