EDUCATION:

Have you seen baby bunnies in your neighborhood? They are adorable, but grow up quickly! I hope you enjoy learning more about rabbits while listening to “A Baby Rabbit Story” by Jeni Wittrock. Also, click the link below for a cute coloring page!

 

  • Bored and looking for something to do? How about using your spare time to brighten the day of a friend or family member?! Handwritten cards might seem old-fashioned, but they are an awesome way to get creative and show that you care. Check this article out for some tips!

 

  • Are you feeling bored in the house and you’re in the house bored? Ms. Persley has just the book for you! The Boring Book by Shinsuke Yoshitake.

  • Paint a Summer Still Life! If you are looking for an indoor activity and a break from the heat, find some items and create a still life masterpiece using paint, colored pencils, crayons, or even some chalk or oil pastels if you have them.

 

  • If you are working on an art project this summer and want to learn to mix your own colors, check out this animation Mixing Colors video by Gabinations. It will show you how to use the three primary colors to make 12 fun colors!

 

HEALTH/OUTDOOR ED:

  • Now it’s time for you to be a hip-hop dancer and try out this cool Jump-N-Kick dance?!? Try out this high energy 6-minute hip hop dance fitness break video from H.Y.P.E. The Breaks Vol. 1. Post yourself trying it at home so we can see you “break it down” (with parent permission)
