Serving More Kids: Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and KIPP Colorado Public Schools Launch New Clubs in 2023 

Providing Safe and Inclusive Spaces for Youth Engagement and Growth 

Denver, CO - [July 19, 2023] - Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and KIPP Colorado Public Schools (KIPP) are thrilled to announce an exciting partnership that will expand access to high-quality after-school programming for students in the Denver area. Starting this fall, a new Boys & Girls Club will open its doors at KIPP Sunshine Peak Academy serving students in grades 5 through 8. This initiative builds upon the success of the existing Green Valley Ranch Boys & Girls Club at KIPP Northeast Elementary School and KIPP Northeast Denver Middle School.

The partnership between Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and KIPP reflects a shared commitment to supporting the holistic development and academic success of young people. By providing a safe and nurturing environment beyond the traditional school day, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver empowers students to reach their full potential, discover their passions, and develop the essential skills needed to pursue great futures.

The new KIPP Sunshine Peak Boys & Girls Club will provide a safe, inclusive, and affordable space where young people can engage in a wide range of programs and activities. From academic support to sports, arts, and leadership development. Club members will have access to a diverse array of opportunities that promote their overall well-being and personal growth.

KIPP Sunshine Peak Boys & Girls Club will officially open its doors this fall on August 14, welcoming students in grades 5-8. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and KIPP are dedicated to ensuring that the Clubs are affordable and accessible to all. New members can register online now.
