Meet Our Club Director: Why Your Child Will Thrive at Montview Boys & Girls Club

If you’re a parent at Montview Elementary School in Aurora, you know how important it is to find safe, affordable, and enriching care for your child after school. That’s exactly what the Montview Boys & Girls Club offers—right on your school’s campus. And at the heart of it all is our incredible Club Director, Dyna Amaya-Lainez!

Dyna is the heartbeat of the Montview Boys & Girls Club. She greets every child by name, celebrates their wins—big and small—and creates a space where kids feel seen, valued, and inspired. Whether it’s helping with homework, calming nerves after a tough day, or cheering kids on during activities, Dyna brings warmth and leadership to every corner of the Club.

Meet Dyna

Dyna has been part of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver since 2017. She is an experienced youth mentor and is now a proud after-school leader for the Montview Club, serving as Club Director. Her favorite part of the day? When the kids first walk through the door.

“It’s the first moment we can set the tone for the day. It’s a million hellos, questions, and redirections. If a kid walks in with heavy energy, I make sure to give them the most positive welcome to the Boys & Girls Club. They can restart right then and there. I really enjoy these moments of connection.”

Dyna’s passion is creating a space where kids feel safe, supported, and excited to learn and grow. She knows every child deserves a fresh start and a caring mentor who believes in them.

“Helping kids feel seen and heard inspires me to work with them,” she shared. “When I moved to Denver, I looked for work that would be impactful. What’s more impactful than serving and guiding the next generation of leaders?”
