Lorena has been attending the Cope Boys & Girls Club for almost five years. Lorena has worked as a work-based learner and as a STEM peer leader, where she helps run programs and keeps the Club clean and safe for Club kids. Most recently, she had the opportunity to show Governor Polis around her Club! Lorena is a bright light at the Club, always making the other kids feel special, laughing with everyone, and being a great support to Club kids who are having a hard time. Lorena thinks of the Club as her family. She has many hobbies outside the Club, including coloring, reading, and cooking.
