Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver Launches Dream House Raffle in New Format for 2024

This year, the organization is offering TWO Grand Prize home options, or a guaranteed $1.1mm Cash Grand Prize option

Denver, CO - January 8, 2024 - Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, in partnership with Work Shop Colorado, is proud to announce the debut of a new Dream House Raffle format for 2024. This year’s raffle, which launched January 2, 2024, features a new Grand Prize structure designed to give the winner the option of up to three incredible Grand Prizes.

Erin Porteous, CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver said, “This year, we’ve restructured our Grand Prize options to include even more life-changing possibilities for our winner. We have adjusted our main ticket sales thresholds to help ensure that we unlock not one, but up to three Grand Prize dreams for our winner.”

First, the 2024 Dream House Raffle Grand Prize winner will have a guaranteed option of taking home $1.1mm cash (paid out as an annuity, or $700k lump sum) no matter what. This means that no ticket sales threshold must be met in order for the Grand Prize winner to take home a life-changing cash prize. The two dream homes being featured this spring, a more than 3,200 square foot duplex and a ~5,900 square foot single family home, will be unlocked as Grand Prize options at the 40k main ticket sales threshold and the 70k main ticket sales threshold, respectively. The Dream House Raffle has sold more than 40k main tickets each year in the last four years running. Purchasers can track main ticket sales on the 2024 Dream House Raffle website.

Both homes are new builds, professionally curated by the design team at Work Shop Colorado. Their in-house approach to building features modern architecture, high-end finishes, and the unique design touches that Work Shop Colorado is known for. Located in the Pike neighborhood of Golden, nestled at the base of South Table Mountain, the raffled duplex features incredible front-range views, outdoor and rooftop entertainment spaces, and bright, open living spaces. The Grand Prize single-family home is located in a new gated community, Arcadian West, at the base of North Table Mountain. Both homes are scheduled for completion in 2024.

“As a Colorado native and father of four, I’m proud to support an organization like the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver that invests in the future of our community’s youth,” said Brad Weiman, CEO of Work Shop Colorado. “The resources provided to kids and teens each year are vital, and we hope that our collaboration with Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver will result in more youth served.”

During the last 15 years, the Dream House Raffle has yielded over $22.5mm in prizes to raffle participants and raised over $26mm directly benefitting the 28,000 kids and teens served through Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver – and their big dreams. In total, the 2024 Dream House Raffle will award 4,250 prizes including international vacations, vehicles, cash, and gift cards.

"We are so thankful for our loyal purchasers, who play not only to win a prize but because they know that, through our annual raffles, kids win too,” said Porteous.
