CO Youth Sports Giving Day
Level the playing field and create access to sports and athletic programs for all of Colorado’s kids and teens on Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day.
On September 4, 2024, we invite you to join us in supporting sports programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.
A collaborative effort between the Aspen Institute Project Play, Daniels Fund, Colorado Gives Foundation, and hundreds of nonprofit organizations supporting youth sports throughout the state, Colorado Youth Sports Giving Day aims to raise essential funds to get more kids playing sports.
Youth sports participation is in decline, particularly for youth from low-income families for whom participation is cost-prohibitive. The average age when kids drop out of sports is 11, and younger for girls and families struggling financially. Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver provides all Club members access to competitive sports leagues, including all the training, equipment, and transportation at little to no cost.
With your help, we can ensure that all kids and teens experience the joys and benefits of playing sports.
