Our benefits are designed to support your health, wellbeing, financial security, family, and life outside of work. Eligible employees can choose from a broad range of benefits and resources to build a package that works for them. 

Employees scheduled to work at least 20 hours per week are eligible for benefits beginning the first day of the month following their date of hire. Many benefits also allow employees to cover eligible spouses, partners, and dependents. 

HEALTH & WELLBEING

Medical coverage that gives you choices 

BGCMD offers two medical plan options through UnitedHealthcare: 

  • UnitedHealthcare PPO, offering both in-network and out-of-network coverage and flexibility in choosing providers. 
  • Colorado Doctors Plan (CDP), a Colorado-focused network offering coordinated care through participating providers and health systems. 

Both plans include $0 preventive care when using eligible in-network providers, and employees enrolled in a medical plan have access to virtual visits at no cost.

MENTAL HEALTH & EVERYDAY SUPPORT

Your wellbeing is bigger than health insurance. 

Employees and household members have access to a confidential Employee Assistance and Work-Life Program through Optum at no cost. Resources are available 24/7 and include support with: 

  • Mental health and counseling 
  • Parenting and family needs 
  • Education resources 
  • Caregiving and elder care 
  • Legal questions 
  • Financial concerns 
  • Everyday life challenges 

Eligible participants may receive up to four free counseling sessions per incident, per year.

FINANCIAL SECURITY

BGCMD offers a 401(k) retirement savings plan administered by The Standard. Employees age 21 and older may participate beginning on their first day of employment. 

After three months of service, BGCMD provides a 100% employer match on employee contributions up to 5% of eligible earnings. Your funds are 100% vested upon enrollment.  

We also provide eligible employees with additional financial protection, including: 

  • Basic life and AD&D insurance at no cost 
  • Short-term disability insurance at no cost 
  • Long-term disability insurance at no cost 
  • Optional supplemental life and AD&D coverage 
  • Optional accident insurance 
  • Optional hospital indemnity insurance 

BGCMD-provided basic life and AD&D coverage is equal to 1x annual earnings, up to $150,000.
