One kid interacting with one Club matters \u2013 for them, their family, and our community. As we enter a new school year, I\u2019m reflecting on how that impact is multiplied by 23,000 kids each year through our work at Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Clubs have been consistent, hopeful, safe havens in our members\u2019 lives for 61 years. Throughout the pandemic, when kids needed us most, our doors remained open when so many schools and businesses were closed. Outside the Clubs, we remained a resource to families and a constant in our communities during a time when just about everything else was subject to change.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Today, I am incredibly proud to say that Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is one of the only organizations serving the same number of kids now as we were before the pandemic. And that benchmark means a lot to us because \u201cServe More Kids\u201d is the north star of our organization\u2019s four strategic pillars. We know our impact on each child is immense and expands beyond the walls of the Clubs into our kids\u2019 families, communities, and futures. That\u2019s why increasing our reach through adaptive Club models and program enhancements is a priority in the 2022-2023 program year.
