Dentro del Club, miembros de todas las edades ayudaron a armar bolsas llenas de suministros esenciales como m\u00e1scaras, guantes, jab\u00f3n y productos de higiene. Las bolsas tambi\u00e9n inclu\u00edan una comida caliente, completa con postre.<\/p>\n<p>M\u00e1s tarde ese d\u00eda, el personal del Club y los adolescentes se dirigieron al vecindario local para entregar alrededor de 45 bolsas a las personas necesitadas. En 2020, se estim\u00f3 que casi 4000 personas estaban sin hogar en Denver. Desde el comienzo de la pandemia de COVID-19, los servicios disponibles para ayudarlos se han visto afectados a medida que m\u00e1s personas necesitan asistencia debido a la p\u00e9rdida de empleos y el impacto econ\u00f3mico del virus.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEstas son las personas por las que el Dr. Martin Luther King hablar\u00eda hoy\u201d, dijo Mya, de 14 a\u00f1os.\u00a0<span>\u201c\u00c9l cre\u00eda que todos eran iguales. Ayudar a otros lo habr\u00eda enorgullecido\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Los servicios de voluntarios fueron parte del D\u00eda de servicio MLK de Boys &amp; Girls Clubs of Metro Denver, que incluy\u00f3 una variedad de actividades seguras y con distanciamiento social para apoyar a nuestras comunidades.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px;\">\u201cSiempre debemos tratar de ser amables y ayudar a los dem\u00e1s en nuestra comunidad\u201d, dijo Jos\u00e9, de 16 a\u00f1os. \u201cEl legado del Dr. King perdura cuando nos tomamos el tiempo para ayudar a otros que lo
