Tiene una discapacidad auditiva y, a menudo, era reservado y t\u00edmido. Pero Micah aprendi\u00f3 r\u00e1pidamente que el Club es un lugar seguro e inclusivo libre de juicios. \u00c9l dice: \u201cEl Club es uno de los lugares m\u00e1s seguros para los ni\u00f1os. Los ni\u00f1os entran y conocen gente nueva de diferentes or\u00edgenes\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Micah pronto se abri\u00f3 y se volvi\u00f3 incre\u00edblemente activo en el Club, jugando baloncesto y lacrosse, organizando y dirigiendo eventos, y convirti\u00e9ndose en un l\u00edder de compa\u00f1eros y miembro del personal junior. Con el apoyo y el aliento de nuestro dedicado personal, super\u00f3 su miedo a hablar y ahora representa a su Club en la comunidad. Su empuje, determinaci\u00f3n y trabajo en equipo lo posicionan como un verdadero l\u00edder; tiene un GPA de 3.8 y actualmente est\u00e1 siendo reclutado para jugar lacrosse en la Universidad de Denver, Cornell y la Universidad de Houston, solo por nombrar algunos. Micah comparti\u00f3: \u201cEl Club me ha ense\u00f1ado a ser un l\u00edder. Ahora mi sue\u00f1o para el futuro es poder retribuir a mi comunidad\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Micah se ha probado a s\u00ed mismo, y a todos los dem\u00e1s, que nada puede deprimirlo.
