Cuando estaba en tercer grado, la vida de Calvin cambi\u00f3 dr\u00e1sticamente. Se mud\u00f3 de Indonesia a Denver con su padre, pero su madre tardar\u00eda cuatro a\u00f1os en unirse a ellos. Calvin tuvo que adaptarse a un nuevo idioma, nuevas costumbres y su madre al otro lado del mundo. Luch\u00f3 en la escuela y se sinti\u00f3 aislado y solo, hasta que se convirti\u00f3 en miembro del Boys & Girls Club. <\/span><\/p>\n

En el Club, Calvin encontr\u00f3 la aceptaci\u00f3n que anhelaba y la socializaci\u00f3n que necesitaba para adaptarse a una nueva cultura y una nueva forma de vida. Prosper\u00f3 en el laboratorio STEM del Club porque, a diferencia del lenguaje, las matem\u00e1ticas son las mismas en cualquier lugar del mundo. Ahora, sus calificaciones est\u00e1n mejorando y, en su tiempo libre, Calvin desarrolla sitios web, solo por diversi\u00f3n. <\/span><\/p>\n

Calvin no siempre crey\u00f3 en s\u00ed mismo, pero nosotros s\u00ed. Boys & Girls Clubs le dio a Calvin el apoyo que necesitaba para encontrar su lugar y desarrollar su propia identidad. <\/span><\/p>\n

Con su apoyo, Boys & Girls Clubs ayudar\u00e1 a los ni\u00f1os a descubrir la confianza en s\u00ed mismos para tomar las riendas de su futuro.<\/span><\/p>\n
