About the Scream Scram 5K Run/WalkRace Results

This annual Halloween-themed fundraiser for Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver combines the best of 5K events and spooky Halloween fun! Held every year in October, thousands of racers come together in Washington Park for the scariest 5K of the year. The event attracts both serious runners and families alike, with something for everyone.

Prior to the race, participants show off their costumes and walk the “Orange Carpet” for a shot at fantastic prizes in the ever-popular costume contest. A 100M Spooky Sneak just for the kids kicks off the evening’s event. After the race, Trick-Or-Treat Street offers food, refreshments, race winner announcements, prize drawings and costume award presentations. Prizes are awarded to the top three male and female finishers.

Costume Contest Categories: Best Individual, Best Family, Best Group (minimum of four participants), Best Child, Best Dog, Best Scream Team.

Entries include: A special edition Scream Scram t-shirt, goodie bag, awards for top finishers and best costumes, prize drawings, great food, and fun after the race.

What kids are saying...

Being part of the Boys & Girls Club is a privilege that is not paid for in the $2 membership fee, but rather the time and love one devotes to it.
