Thank you for Joining us March 14, 2013 for the Gates Camp Breakfast!
.
The annual Gates Camp Breakfast helps support the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver’s Summer Camp Program in the Indian Peaks Wilderness. Over the course of seven weeks of summer, more than 500 young members experience the wonder of the Rocky Mountains while learning important life lessons and building life-long friendships. For many of our campers, it is their very first experience in the outdoors. In 2013, nearly 300 community members joined us for a complimentary breakfast, an uplifting message from CBS4 Sports Anchor Vic Lombardi, and raised more than $100,000 for Denver youth to experience the beauty and magic of the great outdoors this summer. We are so grateful for your inspiring generosity!

Gates Camp is a residential summer camp facility located at the base of the Indian Peaks Wilderness area west of Boulder, Colorado. Our unique camp offers Boys & Girls Club members, most from economically-disadvantaged families, a chance to escape the sometimes stark realities of city life and gain new perspectives. At Gates Camp, kids can be different, experience new activities, learn a variety of new skills, and try new behaviors. Our campers have the opportunity to make deep connections with both nature and dedicated staff. Simply put, we give kids a chance to be kids—in the neighborhoods where our campers live, that’s a luxury they don’t often have.
.
While there is no charge to attend, all guests will be asked to make a financial contribution of at least $125 to support the kids served by Gates Camp.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver

Being part of the Boys & Girls Club is a privilege that is not paid for in the $2 membership fee, but rather the time and love one devotes to it.
