Fine Arts Exhibit

Fine Arts Exhibit // January 2015 // Denver Art Museum

In 2013, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver once again had a great showing at the Southwest Regional Fine Arts Exhibit. 579 pieces were entered for regional judging from Boys & Girls Clubs across 7 states and 17 of the 37 winners were from Denver youth. Since 1998, BGCMD has had 17 national winners.

The Fine Arts Exhibit is part of a year-round fine arts program, which encourages artistic expression through classes, special events and local exhibits. The program culminates in the National Fine Arts Exhibit, which begins at Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s National Conference and then tours the United States. Displaying artwork in four age divisions and 9 mediums as well as a group project, the National Fine Arts Exhibit showcases the best of fine arts programs from Boys & Girls Clubs around the world.

What kids are saying...

Being part of the Boys & Girls Club is a privilege that is not paid for in the $2 membership fee, but rather the time and love one devotes to it.
