Our partnership with Kearney Middle School helps us serve hundreds of children in Commerce City.  By combining designated Boys & Girls Club space with shared spaces within Kearney Middle School, we provide young people with the full scope of Boys & Girls Clubs programming.

Today, the size-restricted Club is bursting at the seams and the pressing demand and need for quality after school programs for more children in this neighborhood has led to an effort to build a stand-alone facility. This new site will allow Boys & Girls Clubs to double its capacity and reach more than 1,000 youth each year.

Currently, a lead gift of $1 million from Suncor Energy, and a $250,000 commitment from the city – as well as the donation of 2.5 acres on which to build the site – are putting this important project in motion. Even with this generosity, an estimated $3.75 million is needed to build this Club. Click here to learn more about the Commerce City Expansion Project!

What kids are saying...

Being part of the Boys & Girls Club is a privilege that is not paid for in the $2 membership fee, but rather the time and love one devotes to it.
